About the artists
Belva and Enrique Velazquez own an art studio and gallery located in the lakeside village of Ajijic, Mexico. Since opening a studio in 1990, they have helped thousands of Mexican, American, and Canadian citizens capture the memories of their beloved Mexico in watercolor and other mediums.
They specialize in commissioned works, murals, calendars, and notecards so everyone can enjoy our beloved Mexico.
They met and fell in love in 1988. After getting married they moved to Ajijic to pursue their art careers together.
Enrique is native Guadalajaran and lifetime artist. He studied art at the University of Guadalajara Fine Arts School and has been a professional artist for over 20 years.

Belva is a native of Colorado and studied art at the University of Colorado.
